NCsoft (036570) said on the 4th that its IT services subsidiary NC IDS will change its name to NC AX.
Since its establishment in October 2024, NC AX has pursued its goal of becoming an "AX (AI transformation)-centered company" that applies and commercializes artificial intelligence (AI) technology in industrial settings. Through this name change, the company plans to strengthen its identity as an AX company and expand its AI-based business competitiveness.
NC AX plans to promote the AX of NCsoft and its major affiliates in cooperation with NC AI, which holds core AI technology. The company plans to maximize synergy by combining NC AI's AI technology with its own development expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP), work system development, platforms and applications.
"Based on the company's process improvement and application development expertise, we will continue to expand our AX business areas and strengthen related services in cooperation with NC AI," said Lee Jae-jin, CEO of NC AX.
