The Wondang Village Hanok Library in Seoul's Dobong-gu said on the 25th that it will run a customized reading and culture program for people with visual impairments, called "One Page of My Life," together with the Dobong-gu branch of the Seoul Association for the Blind.
The program was created to improve access to reading and cultural activities for people with visual impairments. It will serve 10 visually impaired participants over three sessions, held every Monday from September 7 to 21.
Participants will experience reading activities that engage all five senses through books. The program will also include a traditional food culture experience tied to the library's specialty themes of tradition and history.
Dobong-gu Mayor Kim Dong-wook said, "We will create a reading and culture environment where anyone can take part together, beyond the boundary between disability and non-disability."
