TUIDE, a new girl group under HYBE, made a strong debut by placing all five tracks from its first EP on domestic music charts on the day of its release. Industry observers said the distinctive musical style, combined with attention from global fans, marked an unusually assured start for a rookie act.
According to agency ABD on the 25th, all five songs from TUIDE's first EP "TUNE & PLAY," released the previous afternoon, entered Melon's "Hot 100." The group consists of Seo-hee, Seo-yeon, Elena, Ji-a, Saki, Se-a and Lee Ha-nui.
As of 9 a.m., the title track "SUN KISS" ranked highest at No. 16. It was followed by "GRLS" at No. 18, "ABD" at No. 54, "Echo" at No. 56 and "Flip-Flop Girl" at No. 57.
The group drew attention for placing every track on the album on the charts on its first day. Observers said TUIDE was not consumed around a single title track but showcased the album's varied music evenly, imprinting the team's identity. Content focused on the music itself, including a highlight medley and a "GRLS" performance video released before the debut, also helped build interest.

The "Soultronic" concept TUIDE has adopted also reflects a distinctive musical color. Building on a genre that blends the warm sensibility of soul with the sensory sound of electronic music, the group moves freely across R&B, house and UK garage. "TUNE & PLAY" reworks genre-crossing songs with TUIDE's own rhythm and groove, capturing the individuality and performance of all seven members.
The music video for the title track "SUN KISS" is also drawing a strong response in global markets. Set against Iceland's expansive natural landscapes, the video follows the seven members as they find their own sense of joy, and it reached No. 4 on China's QQ Music music video chart shortly after release. Despite being a rookie group's debut work, reviews have praised how the free-spirited, stylish visuals blend with the mood of the song.
Interest from global fans was also evident. TUIDE held its debut showcase on the 24th at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, marking its first official meeting with fans. The event featured performances of "SUN KISS," "GRLS" and "Flip-Flop Girl," offering a chance to see the distinct charms and personalities of each member.
The showcase was also streamed live online through Weverse, with viewers joining from 171 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China and France. It carried significance in that TUIDE aimed at global fans from the outset, going beyond a domestic debut stage.
TUIDE will step up its activities through music shows. Starting with Mnet's digital studio "Studio CHOOM" on the 25th, the group will appear in turn on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 27th, KBS2's "Music Bank" on the 28th, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 29th and SBS's "Inkigayo" on the 30th.
With all its debut tracks charting, a warm reception in China's music market and interest from a fandom spanning 171 countries and regions, attention is turning to how TUIDE will fare in the rookie girl group market with its own "Soultronic" sound.
