HYBE will introduce TUIDE, a seven-member rookie girl group, in the second half of this year through its new label ABD.
ABD said on the 20th that it had opened TUIDE's official social networking service (SNS) channel and unveiled the team logo.
TUIDE is a girl group composed of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Ha-nui. The team name comes from "Tune the tide," which carries the meaning of "tuning the flow."
"TUIDE's members will freely express their individual personalities while flexibly blending with one another to deliver harmonious voices," ABD said.
TUIDE plans to create a new current in its own way, starting from its debut promotions. The team's official Instagram account will be operated privately for the time being from the 21st.
ABD was established as part of HYBE's "multi-label strategy," which strengthens the expertise and autonomy of each label. The company name is an abbreviation of its brand slogan "A Bold Dream," and pursues flexible and lively creative thinking that "imagines D rather than C after A and B."
TUIDE's overall producing will be handled by Han Sung-soo, a master professional who discovered and nurtured K-pop stars such as Seventeen, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS.
