
Renault Korea sold a total of 4,261 vehicles in August, including 2,024 units in the domestic market and 2,237 units in exports, the company said on the 1st.
The figure marks a 34.0% decline from 6,457 vehicles a year earlier. Domestic sales fell 47.7% from 3,868 units, while exports dropped 13.6% from 2,589 units.
In the domestic market, the Grand Koleos led with 929 units, followed by the Arkana with 575 units and the Filante with 520 units.
Overseas, the Polestar 4 topped the list with 1,232 units, followed by the Arkana with 658 units and the Grand Koleos with 346 units.
Renault Korea produces Polestar's Polestar 4 on a contract basis at its Busan plant.
"We are facing difficulties such as adjusting production and shipping schedules amid an unstable international situation, but we expect a rebound in performance by securing export volumes going forward," Renault Korea said.
