Hyundai Motor (005380.KS) on the 25th launched the 2027 Palisade, headlined by a "high-roof" model that is the first SUV-based version of its kind from a domestic automaker.
The 2027 Palisade expands its lineup with the high-roof model as well as two new trims: the premium-styled "Black Ink" and the outdoor-oriented "XRT."
The high-roof model raises the roof section by 240mm to create a more spacious, premium interior. At the same time, it remains practical, with an overall height of 2,005mm that still allows entry into underground parking garages. It comes standard with a dedicated high-roof exterior design, a Preview electronically controlled suspension, 21-inch alloy wheels and Pirelli tires. Inside, it features "Starry Sky" mood lighting that recreates the effect of stars glittering in the night sky, along with a 21.4-inch rear-seat smart entertainment system.

The Black Ink is defined by a black-accent design based on the Calligraphy trim. Like the high-roof model, it comes standard with a Preview electronically controlled suspension, 21-inch black alloy wheels and Pirelli tires.
The XRT trim adopts dedicated 20-inch alloy wheels, ventilated second-row seats and Bose premium speakers, and creates a sportier look with XRT-exclusive parts on the radiator grille, emblem and side mirrors.
Hyundai Motor also broadened the range of intelligent safety technologies across the 2027 Palisade, starting from the base trim.
On the Exclusive trim, the automaker made standard a 12.3-inch large-screen cluster, a panoramic curved display, forward collision-avoidance assist, navigation-based smart cruise control and Highway Driving Assist 2.

For the gasoline nine-seat version, the 2027 Palisade is priced at 44.78 million won ($32,300) for the Exclusive, 50.4 million won for the H-Pick, 52.11 million won for the XRT, 56.06 million won for the Calligraphy, 57.67 million won for the Black Ink and 72.44 million won for the high-roof model.
For the hybrid nine-seat version, prices are 50.77 million won for the Exclusive, 56.4 million won for the H-Pick, 62.06 million won for the Calligraphy, 63.67 million won for the Black Ink and 78.44 million won for the high-roof model.
"With the 2027 Palisade, we have widened the range of customer choices by adding a large number of distinctive new trims, including Hyundai's first SUV-based high-roof model, Black Ink and XRT," a Hyundai Motor official said. "By making safety features standard and enhancing product appeal, we will maintain our unrivaled position in the domestic large SUV market."
