
Nota (486990.KQ), a South Korean company specializing in AI model compression and optimization, said on the 17th that it has partnered with Intel to launch a package product combining its video monitoring solution, Nota Vision Agent (NVA), with Intel's Arc Pro B70 graphics processing unit. The B70 is a key product Intel introduced for the next-generation professional GPU market, supporting high-performance graphics work and AI workloads. Nota Vision Agent combines computer vision (CV) with vision language models (VLM) to analyze in real time not only objects and behavior in video footage but also the context of a situation, and it automatically compiles key findings into reports.
Nota and Intel jointly developed the product to reduce the burden on companies of selecting and optimizing hardware and software for their own sites. With the launch, customers can build a VLM-based video monitoring system that matches their required performance and available budget without a separate hardware selection and optimization process, lowering adoption costs and improving operational efficiency.
In testing by Nota, a single Intel B70 GPU processed a total of 540 frames per second across 32 video channels. Average throughput per channel was 16.9 frames per second, exceeding the operational target of 15 frames per second. The system delivered stable processing speeds for field requirements while analyzing multiple CCTV feeds simultaneously. The test was based on the operating environment of an intelligent transport system that Nota built last year for about 800 CCTV channels and 200 smart intersections in Daejeon.
The two companies plan to pursue joint customer development, adoption consulting and on-site technical support following the launch. They also plan to apply Nota's AI optimization technology to a range of Intel hardware environments, expanding cooperation into industrial AI fields such as intelligent transport systems, industrial safety and selective monitoring.
"This package product is the result of combining Nota's optimization capabilities with Intel's hardware competitiveness to deliver the performance that industrial sites demand in an actual product," Nota CEO Chae Myung-soo said. "The value of optimization technology lies in enabling AI to be used practically across various industrial sites, so we will continue to broaden the options available to customers as they build AI infrastructure suited to their own sites."
Michael Monson, Intel's Arc Pro product manager, said the results with Nota show that Intel and its partners can deliver greater value to customers through full-stack cooperation spanning hardware to software.
