The Korean version of "Normal," a track from BTS's fifth album "Arirang," has been released.
Big Hit Music, BTS's agency, said on the 17th that it had released the Korean-version audio of "Normal." The Korean-language track consists of explicit, clean, and instrumental versions. It is a song BTS first performed at the Busan concert of their "Arirang" world tour last month.
The music video for the original English version of "Normal" was also released the same day through Spotify. It will be released on other platforms, including YouTube, on the 19th. The music video captures raw, unfiltered images of the members' "true selves" hidden behind the dazzling moments on stage. BTS acted out tired and disheveled daily lives, singing while being hit by streams of water and lying down with wounded faces. In ordinary and honest forms, the members quietly consoled the public who feel anxiety and fatigue in daily life.
"Normal" is an alternative pop track that calmly sings of the emptiness and fear that exist behind the spotlight. It entered the U.S. Billboard main singles chart "Hot 100" at No. 41 and has remained on the chart for three consecutive weeks. World-renowned producer Ryan Tedder took part in the track, which is characterized by a soft singing rap that unfolds like speech.
BTS will appear in the halftime show of the FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, held on the 19th at a stadium in New Jersey, New York, in the United States. Famous pop stars including Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber will also take the stage.
BTS will continue its "Arirang" world tour with performances at MetLife Stadium near New York on the 1st and 2nd of next month.
