Hanmi Global ranked sixth among global construction and project management (CM/PM) firms, its highest position on record.
The company said on the 26th that it placed sixth in the global CM/PM category — excluding U.S. firms — in the "2026 ENR Top International Survey" published by U.S. construction trade journal ENR. It marks the best result ever achieved by a Korean company across ENR's overall rankings for major construction industry fields, including construction, engineering, CM and PM.
Hanmi Global's domestic and overseas CM/PM revenue last year totaled $255.8 million (about 354.7 billion won), of which $139.4 million (about 193.3 billion won) came from overseas.
Hanmi Global, which introduced project management to Korea for the first time in 1996, first broke into the world's top 10 in 2019 and rose to eighth in 2022. Since its founding, it has carried out more than 3,300 projects in 66 countries.
The company has recently been expanding overseas operations, centered on the United States and the Middle East. Last year it won contracts including an 87-story high-rise residence in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, an urban regeneration project in Riyadh, and housing and infrastructure projects in Kuwait. It also entered the overseas nuclear power market by securing a PM contract for equipment upgrades at Romania's Cernavoda nuclear power plant.
In April this year, its U.S. subsidiary Otak signed a procurement contract worth $400 million (about 553.7 billion won) for engineering services to improve and maintain national park infrastructure, awarded by the U.S. National Park Service (NPS). Hanmi Global is also pursuing the establishment of a small modular reactor (SMR) business development company in the United States.
A Hanmi Global official said, "We recorded our highest ranking ever as we mark our 30th anniversary this year," adding, "We will accelerate our expansion into global markets and enter the top five going forward."
