LG Innotek said on the 25th that it recently held "Inno Connect," an overseas recruiting event, at the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Inno Connect is a global talent acquisition program that invites top talent from leading U.S. universities to learn about LG Innotek's technological competitiveness and future vision, with a view to hiring. LG Innotek has held the event in the United States every year since 2024.
This year's event drew Chief Technology Officer John Min and Chief Human Resources Officer Lee Dong-hoon, both executive directors, along with key executives leading research and development. Some 30 master's and doctoral researchers and experienced professionals from 16 major U.S. universities, including Stanford University, the California Institute of Technology, Yale University and UCLA, also attended.
Participants showed strong interest in areas LG Innotek is cultivating as future core businesses, including physical artificial intelligence spanning robotics and autonomous driving, advanced packaging and next-generation optical technologies.
LG Innotek has recently been realigning its business portfolio around physical AI and semiconductor substrates, accelerating efforts to strengthen competitiveness. At the event, LG Innotek researchers shared the latest technology trends and R&D progress in each field, and attendees expressed interest in the company's future technologies and business direction.
"LG Innotek has built close partnerships with global big tech companies," Min said. "We hope to provide an environment and opportunities for people to grow into experts in their fields and to lead the physical AI era together."
