Kolon Life Science (102940) will promote its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) businesses at the world's largest pharmaceutical industry exhibition as it seeks to expand its global client base. The company will highlight its portfolio of phosphoramidites, a core material for RNA therapeutics, targeting the growing market for such treatments.
Kolon Life Science said on the 8th that it will participate with its own booth at CPHI Worldwide 2026, also known as CPHI Milan 2026, to be held in Milan, Italy, from October 6 to 8.
CPHI Worldwide is a global pharmaceutical industry exhibition held annually in major European cities, drawing companies from across the pharmaceutical value chain to present technologies and products and explore business partnerships.
At the exhibition, Kolon Life Science plans to introduce its existing API business, new supply items and CDMO services spanning research and development through regulatory compliance.
The company has undergone quality audits by Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) and local pharmaceutical companies, and has obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA). On that basis, it supplies APIs including anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs and treatments for hyperlipidemia at home and abroad.
The company will also present its new materials business targeting the RNA therapeutics market. Kolon Life Science is expanding its business portfolio around phosphoramidites, a core material for RNA therapeutics. It offers not only standard phosphoramidites for DNA and RNA but also modified products and customized development solutions.
In the CDMO segment, the company will introduce chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) services covering process development, production and regulatory compliance. It plans to draw on the manufacturing and quality control capabilities built up in its API business to support clients from early process design through commercial production and regulatory approval.
