Emro (058970.KQ), an artificial intelligence-based supply chain management software firm, will supply its supplier relationship management software-as-a-service solution Cadencia to a leading European energy solutions company.
Emro said on the 7th that it signed a solution supply contract with the European energy solutions firm, identified only as Company A, through an overseas unit of Samsung SDS. The company plans to implement Company A's core procurement processes based on the deal. It is the first time Emro has won a Cadencia client in the European market.
Emro will provide the client with AI-based automated comparison and analysis of bills of materials. It will also build an AI-based design-to-source process spanning new product development, quality planning and management, and sourcing. "As volatility in global markets widens, building a strategic supply chain and managing costs from the new product development stage are becoming more important," Emro said.

The contract gives Emro its first client in Europe, following North America. The company currently has three clients in North America and plans to expand sales activities targeting local European companies based on the Company A deal.
Emro is also pursuing additional business in Europe and North America. The company is running Cadencia solution demonstrations for European automotive and technology firms. It is also pursuing follow-on projects to add new functions to solutions already deployed at North American clients.
"Since beginning its overseas expansion in earnest in 2024, Cadencia has built up references by winning global companies in core industries in North America and Europe as clients," an Emro official said. "Having raised awareness through inclusion in global market research firm reports and winning a Red Dot Design Award, we will expand overseas business into Europe and Asia starting with this contract and strengthen our position in the global SRM solution market."
