Hanmi Group has begun providing relief supplies to residents and recovery workers in South Gyeongsang Province, which was recently hit by torrential rains.
Hanmi Science said on the 27th that it had delivered some 15,000 units of its plant-based protein drink "Perfect Soymilk Black Bean Black Sesame High Calcium" to flood-affected areas in the cities of Geoje and Tongyeong in South Gyeongsang Province.
Hanmi Science said it decided on the support to help the local communities return to normal life as soon as possible and to lend strength to residents struggling at the flood sites.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the residents affected by the torrential rains," an official at Hanmi Science said. "We hope this will be of some help in allowing the affected areas to regain stability and return to daily life as quickly as possible."
Hanmi Group has continued its social contribution activities, having also supplied relief goods including "Perfect Soymilk" and the energy drink "Premium Recipe" to regions nationwide that were damaged by torrential rains in July last year.
