SK AX said on the 26th that it signed a memorandum of understanding with SAP on cooperation in the "SAP Autonomous Suite and Business AI."
Kim Wan-jong, president of SK AX, met SAP Chief Executive Christian Klein at a signing ceremony held earlier this month at SAP's headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, where the two discussed specific plans for collaboration. The partnership combines SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with SK AX's AI agent technology. The two companies will work together across various industries using SAP offerings such as the Autonomous Suite, a business process automation transformation initiative, and the Business AI Platform, a workplace AI platform.
SK AX's ERP system, the Xgentic Wire ERP Suite, will also be listed on SAP's marketplace. The system, previously used by SK AX's client companies, will become available as a product to companies worldwide once it is listed on the marketplace.
The Xgentic Wire ERP Suite contains a range of AI features. Among them, "MyFinance" is an AI function that automates financial tasks and supports anomaly detection. The suite also includes "EAR Ops," which assists with ERP operations, and "EAR Studio," which applies AI to design ERP systems. In addition, SK AX is participating in the Early Adopter Care (EAC) program, in which it applies SAP products in its work environment before their official release and exchanges feedback with SAP.
"Based on this strategic partnership with SAP, SK AX will create success stories of AI-friendly enterprises," Kim said. Klein said, "I look forward to realizing the vision of the autonomous enterprise for customers together with SK AX."
