
MobilTech, a physical AI spatial intelligence infrastructure company, said on the 20th that officials from the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) visited the company to discuss the outlook for smart cities and observed demonstrations of its spatial intelligence technologies, including calibration.
The Singapore Land Authority is a government agency that oversees Singapore's land, surveying and geospatial information, and leads efforts to optimize land use and build smart cities using precise spatial data. MobilTech introduced its core solutions, including Sensor Suite, a multi-sensor fusion software; Calibration Suite, a solution for inspection and correction; and Replica City, which builds digital twin-based simulation spaces.
At the Calibration Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, SLA officials observed firsthand a demonstration of the spatial data collection equipment and calibration technology developed by MobilTech. The technology received New Excellent Technology (NET) certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in May, and is notable for reducing alignment errors in position and angle between sensors to 0.23 centimeters and 0.17 degrees, respectively. By automating the calibration work of precisely matching the spatial coordinates seen by cameras, sensors and robots with real physical space, the company cut the task time from the previous one to two weeks per vehicle to about 10 minutes.
Based on this exchange, MobilTech plans to supply AI-based technology to urban management projects being pursued by the Singapore Land Authority. "This was a meaningful occasion where the Singapore Land Authority saw firsthand our calibration technology, which has even earned national certification," MobilTech CEO Kim Jae-seung said. "We will continue to prove the value of precise spatial data as tangible cooperation results in global smart city projects, including Singapore, based on core solutions such as calibration and digital twins."
