Raonsecure (042510.KQ), an AI security and authentication platform company, said on the 14th that it had been newly selected for the "2026 Kosdaq Rising Star" list organized by the Korea Exchange (KRX), a recognition of the company's technology and growth potential.
The Kosdaq Rising Star program has been run by the KRX since 2009 to identify and nurture Kosdaq-listed companies with strong technology, financial stability and growth potential. A total of 18 companies were selected this year, of which 8, including Raonsecure, were new additions.
Raonsecure has built up its competitiveness in digital authentication and security, spanning a zero-trust framework centered on biometric authentication and integrated access management (IAM), as well as blockchain-based digital ID. Notably, the company's blockchain-based digital ID platform technology is applied to a mobile identification service used by about 45 million people in South Korea.
The company has also continued to post results in the global market. A biometric authentication platform it supplied in Japan surpassed 10 million monthly active users (MAU) this year. Building on this, it is expanding its digital authentication and ID business into Southeast Asia and Latin America, in addition to Japan. Raonsecure is also pursuing a post-quantum cryptography (PQC) business, recently supplying PQC solutions to financial firms such as NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance and KDB Life Insurance.
Raonsecure plans to expand its business into a "digital trust infrastructure" company that manages the identities and privileges of agentic AI, going beyond people and systems. A Raonsecure official said, "We will continue to advance our competitiveness in AI security, PQC and digital ID to grow into a global digital trust infrastructure company."
