Dongguk University's Graduate School of Police and Justice said on the 26th that it held an entrance ceremony for the seventh class of its Park Golf Executive Program at the university.
The seventh class is led by Shin Bong-tae, chief professor at the graduate school, with instruction provided by professors Kwon Dae-hyun, Pyo Sang-ok, Lee Jae-yoon, Jung Hyun-min, Cha Jung-soon, Oh In-sun, Park Ji-hye and Park Hee-sook. Administration is handled by operating faculty members Lim Jae-hong, Jang Gwi-hwan, Wang Eun-hee, Ko Kyung-hoon, Kang Kyu-hyun and Lee Geum-jae, along with steering committee member Oh Young-hee.
The program aims to go beyond technical instruction in park golf, developing basic theory and match operations as well as the expertise, leadership, character and on-site coaching skills required of instructors.
"Park golf is not simply a sport about hitting the ball well. It is a culture that connects people and builds healthy lives," Shin said. "I hope the seventh class gains not only professional knowledge and coaching capabilities through this program, but also good relationships and new vitality in life."
The seventh Park Golf Executive Program runs for about six months, from the 25th of this month through February 2 of next year.
