DAEJEON — KEPCO Nuclear Fuel said on the 21st that its management and labor union jointly delivered fruit and Onnuri gift certificates — vouchers redeemable at traditional markets — to four social welfare facilities near the company ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
The company bought pears and apples from its sister village and a traditional market to support local farmers and small business owners, then donated the fruit along with the gift certificates.
"Through voluntary regular donations and volunteer work by our employees, we have worked to spread and practice a culture of sharing," said Chung Chang-jin, chief executive of KEPCO Nuclear Fuel. "We will continue to strive to be a company that fulfills its social responsibility."
