
Seoul's Yeongdeungpo-gu will hold its 2026 multicultural awareness education program for Korean and foreign residents at the Dadream Cultural Complex Center in Daerim-dong at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th.
Comedian Jung Chul-kyu will speak about multicultural sensitivity, drawing on his experience playing Blanca, a character based on a migrant worker. Hong Hee-jung, a Yonsei University student from a multicultural family, will share her experience of studying and living in Korea.
The program is open to 50 Korean and foreign residents, with applications accepted through the 16th. Yeongdeungpo-gu also runs Korean language and digital literacy classes, professional certification courses and employment consulting to help multicultural families settle and become self-sufficient.
