BUSAN — The Busan Regional Public Procurement Service presented commendations from the head of the Public Procurement Service to two outstanding local suppliers for their contributions to technological innovation and the regional economy.
The Busan office said on the 8th that it awarded the commendations to K-Cis and Panotech. The awards were created to recognize companies that have improved the quality of goods supplied through public procurement with strong technical capabilities and worked to develop the local economy.
K-Cis was recognized for advancing energy-saving technology in light-emitting diode (LED) information display boards and for helping improve public information delivery systems.
Panotech drew high marks for building a foundation for smart infrastructure in building automation control systems and building energy management systems, and for improving energy efficiency at public facilities.
"I am grateful to local business leaders who have worked to create jobs and revitalize the regional economy through technological innovation," said Kim Young-hoon, head of the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service. "We will continue policy support so that outstanding companies can take another step forward using public procurement as a springboard."
