Seoul's Gangnam-gu said it will provide licensed and affiliated real estate agents with statutory training, instruction on using electronic contracts and education aimed at preventing false and exaggerated advertising, part of an effort to create a safer property transaction environment.
The training will run in five sessions at the Gangnam-gu Community Hall on the 2nd through 4th and the 10th and 11th of next month. The program will cover cases of violations under the Licensed Real Estate Agent Act, along with how to draft special clauses for different types of brokered properties, such as homes and commercial units, and how to prepare confirmation and explanation documents.
From the 24th to the 27th of this month, the Nonhyeon 2-dong Complex Cultural Center will host hands-on training in electronic contracts, including drafting agreements and applying digital signatures using smartphones and computers.
Education to prevent false and exaggerated advertising will also be held once a month. The district plans to explain advertising standards for each type of media, aiming to prevent bait listings, inappropriate advertising and violations stemming from unfamiliarity with the law.
