IGIS Asset Management is relocating from the Seu Building and the CCMM Building to Tower 2 of Parc.1 in Yeouido. The move is aimed at consolidating scattered offices into a single location to improve operational efficiency.
IGIS Asset Management notified its employees of the plan on the 20th. The firm discussed the relocation at a board meeting the same day and plans to convey its intent to lease space at Parc.1 Tower 2 in the near future.
Parc.1 is seen as highly accessible, connected by an underground walkway to Yeouido Station on subway lines 5 and 9. The relocation is largely intended to improve convenience for both employees and outside visitors.
IGIS Asset Management moved into the Seu Building in 2013 and currently also uses the CCMM Building. With its offices split across two locations, communication has reportedly been constrained.
The company plans to boost cross-department exchange and collaboration by bringing all 450 employees together at the new site. The move is expected to be completed as early as the first quarter of next year.
