Singer Lee So-ra is returning to the public with new music after a long silence.
Her agency, Marehim Entertainment, said Tuesday that "Lee So-ra has confirmed the release of a new single in July." The agency added that "this new single is her first in about seven years since her single 'Song Request (Feat. SUGA of BTS),' released in January 2019."
Since her single "Song Request," Lee has mainly communicated with the public through original soundtracks (OSTs) of well-made dramas, delivering deep resonance. As she makes her comeback with a new song under her own name for the first time in a while, she plans to once again move the public deeply with her distinctive vocal tone and even deeper emotional expression.
Ahead of her comeback, Lee said through her agency, "It's a new song after a long time, so it feels fresh, and I hope many people will listen to it." She added, "I am grateful to those who waited, and since I will sing more from now on, I hope you will continue to take interest and watch over me."

Lee debuted in 1993 as a member of the vocal group "Navarro." She later went solo in 1995, starting with "I'm Happy" and releasing numerous hit songs including "Proposal," "Blue in You," "Please," "Don't Leave My Side," "Remember Me," "The Wind Blows," and "Track 9," establishing herself as a beloved and irreplaceable vocalist representing South Korea.
Meanwhile, Lee's new single, which has raised music fans' anticipation to a peak by officially announcing her comeback after about seven years, is set to be released through various online music streaming sites in July.
