Shinsegae Group said on the 17th that it will accept applications for its 2027 entry-level hiring round from Sept. 18 through Oct. 12.
Ten affiliates are taking part, including E-Mart, Shinsegae Department Store, Shinsegae Property, SCK Company (Starbucks), Shinsegae International, Shinsegae DF, Shinsegae I&C, Shinsegae Food, Shinsegae Central and Shinsegae Live Shopping.
Applicants must have graduated before August next year or be scheduled to graduate by then, and must face no restrictions on overseas travel. Results of the document screening will be announced in late October. Interviews at individual affiliates and final interviews will follow in November and December, when successful candidates will be confirmed. Those hired will formally join the group in January and take part in group orientation training.
Shinsegae Group also plans to run online and offline recruitment promotion activities at each affiliate to publicize the hiring round. The group streamlined its hiring process last year by scrapping a month-long internship that had followed the final interview.
"By eliminating the internship stage from last year, we were able to run a faster and more focused hiring process and secure talented people earlier," a Shinsegae Group official said. "We hope capable young people will again show strong interest and apply this year."
