Shinsegae Department Store said on the 15th that it is rolling out premium wine gift sets aimed at wine enthusiasts for the Chuseok holiday.
This year's lineup includes Shinsegae-exclusive bottles selected by the House of Shinsegae Wine Cellar, a Montrachet collection of what are regarded as the world's finest white wines, wines that have reached their ideal drinking window, and rare collectible bottles.
The House of Shinsegae Wine Cellar is presenting wines from leading global producers under the theme of pinot noir this year. Its Burgundy collection is the centerpiece, featuring bottles such as Domaine Leroy Clos de Vougeot GC 98 and Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin GC 00.
The retailer is also offering a Montrachet collection. Montrachet is a Burgundy grand cru wine widely considered the pinnacle of white wine worldwide. With extremely limited output and strong demand, it ranks among the most sought-after wines for collectors.
The lineup also features bestselling gift sets that pair flagship wines from major global producers with more accessible price points, such as the Banfi Poggio set and the Luce set, alongside an ultra-high-end collection for enthusiasts and collectors that includes Chateau Latour 90.
"For this Chuseok, we designed differentiated wine gift sets centered on exclusive bottles available only at Shinsegae and flagship wines from the world's great wine regions," said Choi Won-jun, senior vice president in charge of food and lifestyle at Shinsegae Department Store. "From premium wines that have entered their ideal drinking window to rare collectible bottles, we believe we can satisfy a wide range of customer tastes."
