Lotte Hotels & Resorts said on the 26th that it has launched the "Lotte Hotel Rewards Exclusive Travel Pass" for foreign guests.
The package includes a room stay and two limited-edition Lotte Hotel T-money cards. Each card is preloaded with 3,000 won and can be used on public transit and at T-money partner stores. The cards feature mother-of-pearl inlay and traditional sipjangsaeng motifs, symbols of longevity.
The pass also comes with discounts across Lotte affiliates. Guests can receive up to 15% off at Lotte Hotel's Delicahans and lounges. Lotte Duty Free offers discounts based on purchase amounts along with a gold-tier membership upgrade. Lotte World Adventure, its aquarium and Seoul Sky are also eligible for discounts, and Lotte Mart provides instant discounts based on payment amounts.
The offer is exclusive to foreign members of Lotte Hotel Rewards. It is available at 10 hotels across South Korea, including in Seoul, Busan and Jeju. Participating properties are The Grand Lotte Seoul, Lotte Hotel World, Lotte Hotel Busan and the L7 hotels in Myeongdong, Hongdae, Gangnam and Haeundae. Lotte City Hotel locations in Myeongdong, Jeju and Guro are also included.
At Lotte's main chain hotels in Seoul and Busan, foreign guests accounted for about 70% of all visitors last year. The number of foreign guests at the company's Busan chain hotels in the first half of this year also rose about 35% from a year earlier.
A Lotte Hotels & Resorts official said the package was designed so that foreign guests can enjoy their travel in Korea more conveniently and pleasantly, not just their time at the hotel. "We will continue to pay close attention to our guests' travel journeys and keep expanding the distinctive customer experience that only Lotte Hotels & Resorts can offer," the official said.
