Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on the 26th that it has begun accepting applications from prospective residents for 463 units in Block A-2 of the Uijeongbu Ujeong public housing district.
The complex held a pre-subscription round in October 2021, and all 463 units will be supplied in a single size of 59 square meters of exclusive floor area. Of the 463 units, 278 are reserved for winners of the earlier pre-subscription, leaving 185 units for special and general supply. The average presale price is about 403 million won per unit for the 59-square-meter homes. Resale is restricted for three years, and there is no requirement that buyers live in the home.
Applications will open first for pre-subscription winners on Sept. 7-8. Special supply applications follow on Sept. 14-15, and general supply applications on Sept. 16-17. Winners will be announced in October and contracts signed in December, with move-in scheduled for May 2029.
Nogyang Station on Subway Line 1 is about one kilometer from the complex. The GTX-C line of the Great Train Express is planned for nearby Uijeongbu Station. The First Seoul Ring Expressway and National Route 39 provide access to neighboring cities including Yangju, Goyang and Namyangju. Beodeulgae Elementary School and Nogyang Middle School are next to the complex, and Hongbok Mountain and Cheonbo Mountain are close by. Uijeongbu Sports Complex is within walking distance, and the site adjoins the existing Nogyang residential district.
LH operates a housing exhibition hall at 816-1 Byeollae-dong, Namyangju, to provide information about the homes and offer sales consultations.
