Daishin Securities is holding an investor relations event connecting KT's (030200.KS) management with institutional investors to highlight the telecom company's competitiveness in artificial intelligence and its medium- to long-term growth strategy.
Daishin Securities said on the 10th that it will host a "Corporate Day" at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul's Yeouido district at 3 p.m. on the 12th of this month, inviting KT Chief Executive Park Yun-young and other top executives.
The event marks the first time Park will meet directly with institutional investors since taking office. Park and other senior KT executives plan to present the company's business status and medium- to long-term growth strategy as part of an effort to communicate with the market.
KT will outline core growth strategies, including the expansion of its AI transformation (AX) business, efforts to strengthen its AI platform competitiveness and the direction of its AI ecosystem development. During the question-and-answer session, KT plans to share broadly with institutional investors its vision for the AX platform, the enhancement of its AI services and the progress of its new growth businesses.
From Daishin Securities, Chief Executive Jin Seung-wook and other key executives will attend to support communication between KT's management and institutional investors.
Kim Hoe-jae, head of Daishin Securities' corporate research division, said the Corporate Day is an occasion for KT's management to explain directly to institutional investors its future growth strategy centered on AI and its vision for the AX platform. He added that the firm will continue to arrange various IR events connecting solid listed companies with investors to strengthen communication with the market.
