LS Mirae Won, the training institute of LS Group, is setting out to nurture young talent equipped with practical skills in digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
LS (006260) Mirae Won announced on the 22nd that it is recruiting trainees for the 'LS JUMP-UP Bootcamp' targeting job seekers, with applications open until the 26th.
The program is part of the 'K-New Deal Academy,' a government-supported initiative organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL), and aims to cultivate practical digital and AI talent applicable to manufacturing industry sites.
The program is open to job seekers aged 15 to 35 who are able to participate in residential training, with a total of 35 people to be selected. The training will run for approximately four months from August 18 to November 27, comprising a total of 550 hours, and will be held at LS Mirae Won in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province.
Selected trainees will be provided free of charge with full tuition, as well as accommodation and meals at the institute, a personal laptop, and a generative AI account. A training allowance of up to 300,000 won per month and separate transportation expenses will also be supported.
The curriculum is structured around practical work that can be immediately applied at industrial sites. Key topics include data analysis and visualization, vibe coding-based web development, work automation using generative AI, and building AI agents.
Participants will also take part in projects and hackathons in which they directly develop predictive maintenance systems, web applications, and equipment anomaly detection AI agents. Through this, they will be supported in securing portfolios that can be used in the actual job-seeking process.
In addition, programs to strengthen employment competitiveness will be offered, including understanding of the manufacturing industry value chain through tours of LS Group business sites, training in planning and document writing, and one-on-one resume and interview consulting.
LS plans to provide preferential treatment in document screening to top graduates who later apply to LS Group affiliates, taking into account factors such as their suitability for the applied position.
