Lotte On, the e-commerce platform operated by Lotte Shopping, said Thursday it is carrying out a voluntary retirement program.
The company notified its employees of the voluntary retirement applications the same day. It marks the first such program in two years since 2024.
The program targets employees with three or more years of service, with applications open through the end of June. Those who retire will receive up to 12 months of salary as a lump-sum payment. The company will also provide 10 million won in tuition support per college-age child, among other benefits.
"We decided to implement voluntary retirement to reorganize our workforce and transform into a more competitive organization amid the rapidly changing e-commerce market environment," a Lotte On official said.
