BTS's Busan concert will be available in theaters around the world.
According to its agency BigHit Music on Monday, "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN BUSAN: LIVE VIEWING," which will allow audiences to watch the second day of BTS's Busan concert on June 13 in real time at theaters, has been confirmed. "Live Viewing" is a real-time broadcast service that lets large audiences gather in one place and enjoy a concert vividly through a large screen and rich sound.
The Live Viewing will take place on June 13 in more than 80 countries and regions and at over 3,800 screens worldwide. Considering regional time differences, North America, South America and Europe will receive delayed broadcasts within one to two days after the performance ends. In Korea, it will be available at the country's three major multiplex chains, including CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox. Domestic ticket reservations for the Live Viewing begin at 10 a.m. on May 28, while global reservations start at 10 p.m. the same day on a rolling basis. Specific countries and regions hosting the screenings can be checked on the official "BTS LIVE VIEWING" website.
In October 2022, BTS held "2030 Busan World Expo Bid Wishing Concert 'Yet to Come' in BUSAN" at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. This performance carries deep meaning as a "Homecoming" stage held at the same venue after about three years and eight months. In particular, June 13 is BTS's debut anniversary, and the Live Viewing is expected to fully ease the disappointment of audiences who cannot attend in person.
Meanwhile, BTS is continuing its unprecedented-scale "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'," spanning a total of 85 shows across 34 cities in North America, Europe, South America and Asia, beginning with the Goyang concert in March. This is the most shows ever for a single tour by a Korean artist. On May 16-17 and 19, the group became the second act after Coldplay to perform at Stanford Stadium, thrilling tens of thousands of global fans.
