SK Telecom has introduced an in-house artificial intelligence (AI) agent that learns employees' work patterns to automate repetitive tasks. As global companies successively unveil enterprise AI agents for workflow automation, SK Telecom plans to expand the agent into a company-wide AX management platform and develop it into a corporate work innovation framework.
SK Telecom said Friday it will apply the beta version of its AI agent service, "A.Biz Cowork," internally. A.Biz Cowork is a service that, when a complex work request comes in, independently establishes an execution plan and carries out tasks ranging from writing code to verifying results. For example, if a legal staffer trains the system on contract review criteria such as contract period, penalty clauses, and personal data processing provisions, the service will then organize review results based on the same criteria whenever a new contract comes in. While existing in-house AI tools were limited to answering users' questions, Cowork allows users without separate development knowledge to obtain desired results through coding, and once it learns a task, it performs it repeatedly to improve work efficiency. Another feature is its customized automation of each organization member's work routine.
Cowork not only links with in-house collaboration tools such as Outlook and Teams, but also has the ability to read dozens of specifications or proposals and extract only the necessary conditions to create comparison tables. SK Telecom plans to gradually expand the scope of integration after internal review going forward.

SK Telecom plans to update its company-wide AX management platform "AXMS" to version 1.5 to systematically manage employees' AI transformation activities. AXMS is a platform that helps users check and manage company-wide AX tasks on a single dashboard. It is equipped with an AX task dashboard, task registration and management, an AX hub, an AX library, and a task support system.
The company has also added features such as AI tool recommendations, links to training and practice programs, and AX output sharing, supporting employees so that their ideas can develop into actual tasks and be implemented. Services developed at the recent in-house hackathon "AX Challenge" will also be registered as official tasks through AXMS going forward. SK Telecom plans to further develop these services before expanding their application across company work sites. The company also plans to establish a virtuous AX cycle in which employees create and utilize AI tools themselves and discover innovative ideas, by organically connecting A.Biz Cowork, AXMS, and AX Challenge.
"The use of AI is now developing beyond the stage of receiving answers to questions, into the stage of teaching AI my way of working," said Yoon Hyun-sang, head of A.dot planning at SK Telecom. "We will innovate the way we work by creating an environment in which employees can directly implement multiple AI agents tailored to their jobs."
