Kim Do-young of the KIA Tigers, one of the KBO League's premier hitters, and Kiwoom Heroes pitcher Ahn Woo-jin both made a strong impact on the same day. Kim claimed sole possession of the home run lead with two long balls, while Ahn held the league-leading LG Twins scoreless to lead Kiwoom to a decisive win.
