DAEJEON — Daejeon Transportation Corp. said on the 21st that it will publicly recruit 28 new employees for the second half of 2026, accepting applications from Oct. 1 to Oct. 8.
The hiring will be conducted through the integrated recruitment process for public institutions under the Daejeon Metropolitan Government. The company will select four people across four regular job categories and 24 people across six indefinite-contract (gongmujik) job categories.
The regular positions cover administration (accounting), information technology, train operations and telecommunications. The indefinite-contract categories are cleaning, call center, station services, facility management, train maintenance and operations management. Station services alone accounts for 11 hires, reflecting a focus on staffing needed for field operations.
A written exam will be held on Nov. 7. Those who pass will take interviews in December, and final successful applicants will be announced at the end of December.
