DAEJEON — The Daejeon Metropolitan Government said on the 18th that it presented a letter of appointment to Choi Jae-keun as the fifth president of the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency.
Choi graduated from Namdaejeon High School and studied journalism and mass communication at Chung-Ang University before working in the media industry. He later served as an adviser on livelihood policy and as a special adviser on public affairs for the Daejeon Metropolitan Government, gaining an understanding of city administration along with experience in external communication and policy consulting.
Daejeon Mayor Huh Tae-jung asked the new president to focus on delivering results in the livelihood economy that residents can feel, including creating local jobs and supporting small business owners.
