
A woman in her 60s was found dead in the freezer storage room of a cafe in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and police have arrested the cafe's owner and are investigating the case.
According to the Paju Police Station on the 7th, a missing person report was filed in Seoul early on the 4th of this month for a woman in her 60s, identified as A.
Police tracing her whereabouts found her body the same day in the freezer storage room of a cafe in Munsan-eup, Paju.
Police identified a man in his 40s, identified as B, who runs the cafe, as a suspect and apprehended him in Seoul the same day. Police then sought an arrest warrant on the 5th on charges of murder and disposing of a body, and the court issued the warrant the previous day.
Police believe B confined A in the storage room and killed her, and are investigating the relationship between the two, the motive for the crime and the exact circumstances of her death.
