ANDONG — North Gyeongsang Province said on the 7th that it is running a "Gyeongbuk Wellness Tourism Experience Week" through the 13th, selling wellness travel products at up to half price to mark the 2026 Visit Gyeongbuk Year.
The lineup consists of 13 standalone experience products at wellness tourism sites and 11 bundled packages that link nearby attractions. During the promotion, all 24 products can be purchased on the Gyeongbuk Travel Mall at discounts of up to 50%.
After the experience week ends, the products will be sold at a 30% discount through the 13th of next month, and at a 10% discount thereafter.
Purchased products can be used through November 30, and buyers who do not use them by the deadline will receive a full refund.
Thirteen sites are taking part: the Naeyeonsan Healing Forest in Pohang, the Gyeongju Kolon Hotel, the Sonocam Gyeongju Wellness Pool & Spa, the Silla Buddhism Chojeonji site in Gumi, the National Forest Therapy Center in Yeongju, the Upside-Down Old Tales Forest in Sangju, Sadamjae Stay in Mungyeong, the Mungyeong World Meditation Village, the Gyeongsan Dongui Herbal Medicine Village, Joyful Village in Yeongdeok, the National Cheongdo Forest Education Center, the National Chilgok Forest Education Center and the Uljin County Yacht School.
The province added the latest round to coincide with autumn travel demand after the first experience week in April closed early, once its budget was exhausted on sales of 104.69 million won.
"We will continue to develop wellness tourism content unique to Gyeongbuk so that it leads to a revitalization of local tourism," said Park Chan-woo, director general of the province's Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau.
