Lee said cooperation between Korea and the United States is expanding beyond a security alliance into an alliance in technology, innovation and startups.
The president pledged comprehensive support spanning investment, finance and overseas expansion, describing venture capital as an "innovation partner."
Lee said Korea will become an innovation hub that is difficult to replace, vowing to create "the world's best environment for investment and entrepreneurship."
