President Lee Jae-myung, who is visiting San Francisco, held a dinner at a local restaurant with chief executives of global Big Tech companies on the 24th, Presidential Chief Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said.
Earlier, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visited "Kkanbu Chicken" during his trip to Korea last year, holding a "chimaek" (chicken and beer) gathering with Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Euisun Chung.
Attending the dinner were Huang, Broadcom President and CEO Hock Tan, Microsoft Azure Hardware President Rani Borkar, Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Chairman Euisun Chung, and Naver board chairman Lee Hae-jin.
The menu included fish and chips, fried calamari, crab cakes, and clam chowder, along with light beer, Kang explained.
