Hanjin Presidents Inspect Delivery Hub Ahead of Chuseok

Roh and Cho visited the control room at the East Seoul hub terminal to review cargo inbound and outbound volumes and transport flows. They then inspected the loading and unloading areas, checking the safe operation of sorting equipment and hazards in the workplace.

They handed out hamburgers, beverages and other items to encourage on-site workers. After touring amenities and reviewing working conditions, Roh and Cho urged workers to observe safety rules and get sufficient rest.

Hanjin plans to run about 100 major terminals nationwide and its available transport vehicles at maximum capacity during this Chuseok peak season. The company will add sorting workers and temporary vehicles to create a safe working environment and ensure deliveries proceed without disruption.

A Hanjin official said, "During the Chuseok peak season, we are focusing on securing safety across the entire cargo transport process and creating an environment where workers can do their jobs with peace of mind."
