Korea Asset Investment Securities visited Isaac's House, a children's welfare center in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, where its employees and the children living there painted a mural together.
The brokerage said on the 13th that it carried out the volunteer project on the center's outdoor stairway on the 12th.
The volunteers decorated the aging concrete steps under the theme of a "warm spring path." Employees and children picked up brushes themselves to paint flowers and grass, giving the old stairway a new look.
Korea Asset Investment Securities has maintained ties with Isaac's House since formally partnering with the center in March this year. It previously hosted a barbecue event and a small sports day, and organized outside cultural and hands-on activities during Family Month in May. For this project, the company drew on a mural-painting talent-donation program it has run since 2017.
"The children and our employees picked up brushes together and spent meaningful time making the stairway beautiful," Chairman Ki Dong-ho said. "I hope the children draw bright energy from the flower path we made together every time they walk up and down the stairs."
The company also supports elderly people living alone in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo district with heated mats and household goods, and runs other social contribution programs including coal briquette deliveries, kimchi-making volunteer work and farm labor assistance.
