Skies will be mostly clear across the country on Monday, the 21st, with the gap between daytime and nighttime temperatures widening to nearly 15 degrees Celsius.
For the time being, most regions except the east coast will see day-night temperature differences of 10 to 15 degrees, and more than 15 degrees in some inland areas, so residents should take care of their health. At night, less than 0.1 millimeter of rain may fall on Gangwon State's east coast and in mountainous areas.
Morning lows are forecast at 13 to 19 degrees, with daytime highs of 25 to 31 degrees. Expected morning lows in major cities are 18 degrees in Seoul, 18 in Incheon, 13 in Chuncheon, 15 in Gangneung, 15 in Daejeon, 15 in Daegu, 17 in Jeonju, 17 in Gwangju, 19 in Busan and 22 in Jeju.
Daytime highs are 30 degrees in Seoul, 29 in Incheon, 29 in Chuncheon, 25 in Gangneung, 29 in Daejeon, 29 in Daegu, 30 in Jeonju, 31 in Gwangju, 28 in Busan and 27 in Jeju.
Dense fog cutting visibility to less than 200 meters may form from the previous night through the morning, mainly in inland Chungcheong, North Gyeongsang Province and central and northern inland areas. Fog reducing visibility to less than one kilometer may also develop in other inland areas nationwide, so drivers should take care.
Caution is advised along coastlines, particularly on the East Sea and South Sea. In the far outer waters of the eastern South Sea, strong winds of 30 to 55 kilometers per hour and high waves of 1.5 to 3.5 meters call for care during fishing operations.
Waves will reach 0.5 to 2.5 meters in coastal waters of the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meter in the Yellow Sea and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea. In inner offshore waters, defined as areas within about 200 kilometers of the coastline, wave heights are expected at 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the Yellow Sea and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
