S2W (488280.KQ), a big data analytics and artificial intelligence company, said on the 10th that it has joined the Daybreak Defense Network, the global partner ecosystem of Daybreak, a cybersecurity initiative led by OpenAI.
Daybreak is a program that uses OpenAI's advanced AI models and security agents to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of companies and institutions. It aims to help security teams find, verify and fix vulnerabilities before they are exploited, allowing them to respond to fast-changing cyber threats.
S2W has built up technical and business capabilities in both AI and cybersecurity. It has developed security-focused language models and AI-based security platforms while also carrying out AI vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The company said that joining the Daybreak Defense Network will allow it to conduct vulnerability discovery, verification and remediation, threat modeling and security research on a broader scale.
S2W plans to review ways to link OpenAI's advanced cybersecurity technology, safeguards and autonomous AI agents with its own technology and products. It is also exploring potential applications in related businesses such as AI red-teaming, which examines vulnerabilities and risks in AI systems from an attacker's perspective.
