Neowiz (095660.KS) has published its first-ever sustainability report since its founding, the company said Tuesday.
The report outlines Neowiz's key sustainability management achievements and priority tasks over the past year, under the company's vision of "Built for Fans. Made to Last."
Through a double materiality assessment, the company identified four core tasks: enhancing user communication and satisfaction, human resource management, information protection and data security, and eco-friendly workplaces. These are closely aligned with Neowiz's management strategy of building intellectual property (IP) that grows with fandom based on trust and remains beloved over the long term, the company explained. A double materiality assessment is an analysis method that considers both the impact of a company's activities on society and the environment and the impact of external environmental factors on the company's finances.
The report underwent independent third-party verification by the Korean Standards Association in accordance with the international assurance standard (AA1000AS v3), enhancing its credibility.
"Sustainability management is a core management element for a company to sustain long-term growth based on trust," a Neowiz official said. "Neowiz will not stop at making fun games but will create value beyond games and grow into a sustainable company."
