DAEJEON — The Korea Minting, Security Printing and ID Card Operating Corp. (KOMSCO) said on the 18th that it has been named a 2026 Best HRD institution in the public sector, a certification program run by the Ministry of Education with the participation of the Ministry of Personnel Management.
Reviewed every three years, the certification was first awarded to KOMSCO in 2007, renewed in 2017 and extended through 2026, marking the fourth consecutive time the state-run mint has earned recognition for its talent development system.
KOMSCO has strengthened a job-focused training framework so that employees can systematically build the skills required for their duties and careers, and it has worked to foster a corporate culture that supports self-directed learning and continuous growth.
The company is also linking talent development to its medium- and long-term growth strategy, building expertise in future business areas such as digital technology and information and communications technology, while expanding tailored training programs that reflect employees' ranks and job characteristics.
