CHANGWON — Gyeongnam Robot Land will stage a special fireworks show at 8 p.m. on the 5th to mark the seventh anniversary of its opening. Starting the same day, the park will also sell all-day passes for 13,000 won over two days as part of the celebration.
The Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation announced the anniversary plans on the 3rd. Alongside the fireworks, audience participation events hosted by an MC will be held three times on the 5th, at 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The return-visit passes will be sold at the entrance plaza of Robot Land on the 5th and 6th. The all-day passes cost 13,000 won, but they are valid only from the 8th through the 30th, meaning buyers cannot enter the park on the day of purchase.
A prize draw will also be held for ticket buyers. Each purchase of two tickets earns one entry. Prizes include a stay at the Changwon Grand City Hotel, a meal voucher for Hunyeondang, annual memberships and all-day passes for Robot Land, Robomo doll keyrings and Robot Land stationery sets.
The pass sales and prize draw will run from 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the 5th, and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the 6th. "To thank the visitors who have come to Robot Land as we mark our seventh anniversary, we have prepared a special fireworks show and a range of commemorative events," a Robot Land official said. "We hope visitors will create special memories with family and friends at Robot Land while enjoying the spectacular fireworks."
Robot Land is also preparing autumn events. The park plans to hold programs timed to the Chuseok holiday and Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Citizens' Day. Further details are available on the Robot Land website.
