GIMHAE — The Gimhae Future Talent Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications through September 18 for 20 scholarship recipients for the second half of 2026. The program totals 56 million won and is designated entirely for living expenses.
The scholarships fall into two categories: corporate-linked employment (10 recipients, 3.6 million won each) and designated donations from the Gimhae Medical Association (10 recipients, 2 million won each). Both are provided for living expenses, separate from tuition.
The employment scholarship targets young workers employed at small and mid-sized companies in the city, with recipients who maintained a grade point average of at least 3.0 in the previous semester receiving 900,000 won each quarter. The designated donation scholarship is for medical students who graduated from local high schools, requiring a grade point average of at least 3.5 over the previous two semesters and household income in the eighth bracket or below.
