
Jungheung Group, which practices social responsibility alongside local communities through diverse social contribution activities, has thrown its support behind the success of the "2026 Yeosu World Island Expo."
Jungheung Group said on the 24th that it participated in a "2026 Yeosu World Island Expo Ticket Purchase Agreement Ceremony" with the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo Organizing Committee, agreeing to purchase a total of 100 million won worth of expo tickets. The agreement ceremony, held the previous day in the mayor's office at Yeosu City Hall, was attended by key officials including Yeosu Mayor Seo Young-hak, Jungheung T&C and Jungheung Construction General President Kim Hae-geun, 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo Organizing Committee Secretary-General Kim Jong-gi, and Jungheung Group executives Shin Kyung-sik, Lim Sung-mook, and Oh Hae-jong.
"This ticket purchase agreement is intended to support and add strength to the successful hosting of the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo, as a company that has grown together with the region," Jungheung T&C and Jungheung Construction General President Kim Hae-geun said. "We will actively help so that the expo can be reborn as an international event that widely promotes the value held by the islands of Yeosu and Korea."
Yeosu Mayor Seo Young-hak responded, "Using Jungheung Group's participation as a springboard, we will further expand nationwide corporate participation."
Meanwhile, Jungheung Group practices love for the region through diverse social contribution projects, including scholarship programs through the Jungheung Scholarship Foundation, donations for disaster and calamity recovery, support for vulnerable groups, and regional coexistence activities.
