With international oil prices stabilizing and easing the burden of airfare costs, Air Busan has stepped up efforts to attract summer holiday travelers through a large-scale special-fare promotion. The strategy aims to convert the effect of lower fuel surcharges into airfare discounts and added benefits to capture domestic and overseas travel demand.
According to Air Busan on Monday, the international special-fare event runs from July 1 to 7, covering a total of 27 routes, including 21 routes departing from Busan and six departing from Incheon. Domestic routes will be covered across all lines from the 1st to the 3rd. The travel period runs through September 30.
Customers who purchase international special-fare tickets will be offered ancillary service bundle products at discounts of up to 40,000 won. Passengers on the Bangkok and Taipei routes will also be entered into a raffle to win local hotel stay vouchers.
For one month in July, international and domestic passengers who pay with Naver Pay can also receive Naver Pay point rewards.
"We have prepared this promotion more generously to connect the easing of the oil price burden into benefits that customers can actually feel," an Air Busan official said. "We hope travelers can plan a reasonable summer vacation at a more affordable price."
