Mirae Asset Securities (006800.KS) said on the 16th that it was named a leading investor in dollar, euro and yen (G3) bonds at The Asset's 2026 Asset Benchmark Research awards, run by the Asian financial publication.
The award marks the second consecutive year that Mirae Asset Securities has been recognized in the G3 bond category, underscoring its investment capabilities in global bond markets. Last year, the firm was named both No. 1 in G3 bond portfolio management and a leading investor.
This year's list of leading G3 bond investors also included Korea Investment Corporation and the Bank of Korea, among South Korea's largest institutional investors. An official at Mirae Asset Securities said the recognition reflected the investment expertise and management competitiveness the firm has built up in global bond markets.
Keith Ho, a managing director at the firm's Singapore unit, was also ranked No. 1 among Korea's best G3 bond investment professionals, in recognition of his investment judgment and market insight in bond markets.
Mirae Asset Securities has steadily expanded its global bond investment and management capabilities and its institutional investor network, drawing on fixed-income specialists based at its Seoul headquarters and at major global financial hubs including Singapore, Hong Kong, London and New York. Lee Jae-hyun, head of the firm's fixed-income division, said the company would link investment and management, sales and the primary market through its specialists in Seoul and other overseas bases and its global investor network. "We will continue to grow as a global bond business that provides differentiated financial services to clients at home and abroad," he said.
